How it works

Potenza is a microneedle radiofrequency system from Jeisys Medical, which Cynosure distributes in some markets. A tip with fine needles enters the skin to a chosen depth, and radiofrequency energy is released at the needle ends so heat is placed below the surface rather than only on top. The handpiece can be set for different needle depths and RF modes, and treatment is done in passes across the area. Redness and small pinpoint marks may follow, and results vary by person.
