Laser Lifting (Fotona 4D / Titan)
This treatment uses laser or infrared energy to firm the skin gradually. The names Fotona 4D and Titan are device-specific, so check that the quote names the system and the number of visits it assumes.
How it works
Depending on the device, the doctor uses laser or infrared light to warm the skin and underlying tissue without breaking the surface. A multi-step protocol may include passes inside the mouth, across the skin and over the surface, each priced as part of one session or as separate steps. Warmth stimulates a repair response over several weeks. Typical plans involve two to four visits a few weeks apart, and the effect varies by person. Cost mainly follows the session count, the protocol and the area.
Who it may suit
- Mild to moderate laxity and early loss of firmness
- Fine lines and slightly enlarged pores that benefit from gentle stimulation
- People who prefer no real downtime
- Those who will complete a short course
The treatment day
- Planning. The doctor chooses the protocol and decides how many visits fit your goals. Ask for this in writing.
- Skin preparation. The face is cleaned. Numbing cream is used only if needed.
- Treatment passes. Energy is delivered in sections. Some protocols include the inner cheek, which can lengthen the visit.
- Scheduling the next visit. The interval is set at the clinic. Ask whether later visits are charged at the same rate.
Aftercare
- Warmth and mild redness usually settle within hours
- Use sunscreen and gentle moisturizer
- Avoid very hot environments for a short time
- Stop and contact the clinic for blistering or unusual pain
- Keep your visit log
Things to know first
- Temporary redness, swelling or tingling is possible; burns are uncommon
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding and active skin infection are usual reasons to postpone
- Tanned skin or recent sun exposure may require a delay
- Results are subtle for some and vary by person
- Not a substitute for surgery in advanced sagging
What the price of laser lifting depends on
Because this is a course treatment, the first question is how many visits the quote includes. A per-visit figure repeated across four visits is a different commitment from a single visit. Ask for the plan length, spacing and what happens if you pause.
The second question is the protocol. A fuller multi-step version that includes intraoral passes may be priced above a skin-surface version. Ask which steps are in the quote and which device is used, since the brand names refer to specific systems.
Look for itemized extras such as numbing cream, tax and soothing masks. A package can lower the per-visit amount, but it ties you in. Compare quotes by total course cost and treated area, not by the name of the machine.
Laser Lifting (Fotona 4D / Titan): common questions
Is Titan priced like Fotona 4D?
Not necessarily. They are different systems with different protocols, so compare the plan, area and visit count, not the brand name.
Does each visit cost the same?
Often, but some clinics change the rate within a course. Ask for each visit on the estimate.
What if I stop after two visits?
Ask before booking whether packages are refundable or transferable. Policies differ.
Will the results last?
No. Effects vary by person and fade with time, so maintenance visits may be discussed.
