ULFIT
ULFIT is a body HIFU device, and quotes depend on shot counts per zone and the cartridge depth.
How it works
ULFIT, from Classys, is a high-intensity focused ultrasound device made for the body. Where facial HIFU targets the skin's supporting layers, body use aims at deeper tissue, including the fat layer, with cartridges built for greater depths. Energy is delivered as single shots across a marked zone such as the abdomen, flanks or upper arms. Changes appear gradually over weeks, and the degree varies by person. It is not a weight loss method.
Good to know
- Body zones are larger, so shot totals run higher than for facial HIFU, and a quote should list them per zone.
- Cartridges are rated for a set number of shots, so a multi-zone plan can use more than one.
- Classys also makes Shurink Universe and Volnewmer, which are facial devices, so check that the written name is ULFIT.
- Follow-up visits for repeat treatment are sometimes suggested, which affects the total.
How ULFIT affects a treatment quote
For ULFIT the quote reads clearest as a table: zone, shots, cartridge depth. A clinic that provides it has described the whole plan. A clinic that provides one body-wide figure leaves you to ask how it was built.
Then ask about repeat visits. Some doctors plan a second treatment later, and the question is whether the first quote includes it. Ask about the measurements recorded at the start, since they are your reference for judging progress. Numbing is not always needed, so ask what the clinic uses. Tax and cartridge policies are separate lines, and the doctor fixes the zones and shot counts after examining you.
ULFIT: common questions
How do I read a ULFIT shot count?
As the amount of work planned for each zone. Compare the count with the zone size and cartridge depth.
Is the second treatment included?
Not always. Ask whether a repeat is in the plan or billed later.
Can zones be mixed in one quote?
Yes, but each zone should have its own line and count.
