Venus Freeze

Venus Freeze is a multi-polar RF treatment with pulsed magnetic fields, usually sold as a course of gentle sessions.

How it works

Venus Freeze, from Venus Concept, combines multi-polar radiofrequency with pulsed magnetic fields. Multi-polar means several electrodes sit in one applicator, so the current spreads across the skin surface and upper layers. The pulsed magnetic fields are described as helping the energy distribute more evenly. Treatment feels warm, uses no needles and has little downtime. Firming effects are modest and build across several sessions, and the degree varies by person.

Good to know

  • Sessions are comfortable enough that clinics commonly sell several in a row, and a price for one is a different number from a price for the course.
  • The face and body use different applicator sizes.
  • There are no shots or tips to count, so area and minutes are the working units.
  • Venus Concept also sells other platforms, so the estimate should name Venus Freeze.

How Venus Freeze affects a treatment quote

A Venus Freeze quote has no consumable that stands out, so the numbers that matter are the session count, the gap between sessions and the areas. Courses of several visits at weekly or fortnightly intervals are common, and the price of one visit says little about the total.

Ask how long each session lasts and which areas are included, as face-only and face-plus-neck plans differ. Ask whether the course is prepaid and what happens if you miss visits or stop. Maintenance sessions after the main course are sometimes recommended, so ask whether they are priced the same way. Tax and consultation fees are separate lines, and the doctor sets the plan at the exam.

Venus Freeze: common questions

Is Venus Freeze priced per session or per course?

Both exist. Divide a course price by the number of sessions to compare it with a single visit.

Is there a consumable on the quote?

Usually not. Area, minutes and number of visits carry the price.

Do maintenance visits follow?

Some clinics suggest them. Ask whether they are priced the same as the main course.
